Your signature cocktail can say a lot about you as a person. From a sleek and sexy Cosmo a la Carrie Bradshaw style, a fun-loving Mai Tai or a cool and collected minty Mojito. There’s a reason for loving each cocktail in its own right. But which cocktails are actually the most popular across the globe? Leading botanical brewery Fentimans, decided to look into this further.
They have created a global index by analysing 36 different cocktails from around the world using a number of different metrics. These include the number of hashtags associated with each cocktail on both Instagram and TikTok, Google Search Data to discover monthly search volume, as well as a Twitter sentiment analysis tool to understand more about the positivity rating of each cocktail.
Based on this research, a unique score was given to each drink to determine which cocktail has been the most loved in each country this year.
