South African actress, entrepreneur and mother Ntando Rambani has celebrated the launch of her new book, From One Mother to Another, written in collaboration with Zibu Sithole.
The book was introduced through two special occasions: an intimate private launch at Magugu House over the weekend, followed by a sold-out public book launch and signing at Exclusive Books in Rosebank on 1 September 2026.
The public launch gave readers and supporters the opportunity to meet Ntando, hear more about the personal journey behind the book and have their copies signed. The event was sold out, reflecting the strong public interest in the book and its honest, relatable message about motherhood, healing and breaking generational cycles.
Over the weekend, Ntando hosted a beautifully curated private launch at Magugu House, surrounded by family, close friends and some of South Africa’s most recognisable personalities.
The intimate afternoon was hosted by Ntando’s close friend and media personality, Zanele Potelwa. It brought guests together in celebration of motherhood, healing and the stories that connect women through their shared experiences.
Guests included DJ Zinhle, Bontle Modiselle, Sive Mabuya Bukani and Simphiwe Ngema, who joined Ntando in celebrating this important personal and creative milestone.
With guests elegantly dressed in shades of brown, the afternoon was warm, sophisticated and deeply personal. The beautiful setting reflected the heart of From One Mother to Another: honest conversations, shared wisdom and the importance of women supporting one another through the different stages of motherhood.
Speaking about the deeply personal journey behind the book, Ntando Rambani said:
“This book comes from the most honest and vulnerable parts of my life. I had to unlearn so much of what I experienced growing up and make an intentional decision to become the mother I always needed. From One Mother to Another is my way of telling every woman who is healing while raising her children that she is not alone. Our past may shape us, but it does not have to determine the kind of home, love or future we create for our families.”
Growing up in a world where love was often complicated by violence and emotional absence, Ntando had to navigate adulthood and motherhood without the example she needed. Through years of self-discovery, unlearning and letting go—much of it under public scrutiny—she made the conscious decision to become the mother she had always needed for her own children.
From One Mother to Another moves beyond the picture-perfect version of parenting often presented on social media and explores the beautiful, complicated and sometimes difficult reality of healing while raising a family.
The book acknowledges the challenges many mothers face and offers encouragement and practical guidance to help women reclaim the future of their families, regardless of the circumstances they come from.
At its heart, the book is a powerful reminder that generational cycles can be broken. It reassures women that they are capable of creating homes filled with the warmth, emotional safety and joy they may not have experienced themselves.
Both the private celebration and the sold-out public launch represented far more than the release of a book. They celebrated sisterhood, family, friendship and the community of women who continue to guide, encourage and inspire one another.
The private launch was made even more memorable through the generous support of Nivea and Brutal Fruit. Their sponsorship contributed to the success of the occasion and helped create a thoughtful and enjoyable experience for Ntando and her guests.
