JC Le Roux Raises a Glass to Inspirational Women in New Toast to Her Campaign

JC Le Roux, South Africa’s original house of sparkling wine, is turning the spotlight onto the women who lift communities, break boundaries, and build futures with a bold and celebratory campaign that goes beyond Women’s Month 2025.

Toast To Her is a tribute to the everyday brilliance, creativity, and resilience of South African women. The women who raise families and start businesses, rewrite stories and gently change the world. This campaign invites the country to honour HER: her voice, her vision, her journey by nominating special women and putting them in line to win incredible prizes, including R10,000 in cash for every eligible nominee.

“We recognise and celebrate women in their fearless fullness,” said Siphokazi Solani, BTL Brand and Events – Wine Category at Heineken Beverages SA. “Every woman carries a story that deserves to be seen, felt, and celebrated. The moments they paused and looked at what they have achieved; the moments they stood up and walked onwards despite adversity; the moments they laughed and shared with friends. We celebrate each and every one of these moments and the women who live them every day.”

From artists to caregivers, scientists to small business owners, the campaign invites South Africans to nominate remarkable women in their lives. These nominations take the form of short video tributes, shared on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #JCToastToHer and tagging @‌JCLeRoux. Every eligible nominee stands the chance to win R10,000 in cash, a gesture designed to support her next bold step, whether that’s buying paint, paying rent, or growing a dream.

Throughout August, JC Le Roux will spotlight different categories of phenomenal women, including women in the arts, education, STEM, entrepreneurship, and social impact. Each themed week becomes a new opportunity to showcase and elevate the unseen work that women do every day to shape the world around them.

Whether it’s the poet who colours the world with her words, the coder who breaks down digital walls, or the mother who gives more than she has, Toast To Her reminds us that all of these women are worthy of celebration with real, visible appreciation. With words, gestures, and yes, bubbles.

JC Le Roux has also tapped into a diverse group of South African influencers, including Pearl Ntsheni and Mamthug, who are sharing their own stories of the women who inspire them, and encouraging others to do the same. This is a celebration of women that’s built on warmth, personal stories and sisterhood.

At the heart of the campaign is a simple question: Who are you raising your glass to this Women’s Month?

This call-to-action extends to JC Le Roux’s own digital platforms, where interactive features like Instagram’s “Add Yours” sticker allow people to create ripple effects of celebration through their stories. As the nominations roll in, so too do the stories of grandmothers who taught courage, friends who stayed through storms, and mentors who made space at the table.

With Toast To Her, JC Le Roux continues to evolve its commitment to recognising connections and creating meaning. The same ethos that has made it South Africa’s most beloved sparkling wine, which is poured at milestones, shared at tables, raised in joy, forms the cornerstone of this campaign.

Women’s Month 2025 is a moment. But Toast To Her reminds us that HER story, HER worth, and HER future are worth celebrating all year round.

"From the fearless women who rewrote history to the everyday women rewriting the future, every journey is worth toasting," says Siphokazi Solani, BTL Brand and Events – Wine Category at Heineken Beverages SA.
