Born in the modest town of Warmbaths (now Bela Bela) in Limpopo, South Africa, Mizz Dee was immersed in music from an early age. Raised in a home filled with melody, she drew inspiration from her grandmother’s gospel singing, her father’s love for Michael Jackson, and her mother’s diverse collection featuring legends like Luther Vandross, Aaliyah, Backstreet Boys, and Babyface. These early influences helped shape her soulful tone and emotional delivery.
