Inside the highly anticipated luxe polo at Inanda Club

The much-anticipated Heineken All-Invitational Inanda Polo in association with Mercedes-Benz, QMS Medicosmetics, L’Or Espresso and Tanqueray returned to the prestigious Inanda Polo Club in their most playful luxury ensembles to witness a first of its kind mixed-doubles polo match. The highly anticipated match saw a 5-10 score with the QMS team claiming victory for the day.

The day of the Heineken All-Invitational Inanda Polo was met with the perfect Spring weather out in all its glory and breath-taking views of the prestigious Inanda Polo Club for a day that redefined the boundaries of elegance and excitement where guests put their best foot forward inspired by the Playful Luxury theme. Upon arrival, guests were driven down to the exclusive Polo Room by Mercedes-Benz in their new-to-market electric SUV’s.

The event saw the likes of entrepreneur and model, Babalwa Mneno, The Mommy’s Club stars, Happy Simelane and Ratile Mabitsela in attendance. The likes of award-winning designer and founder of MaXhosa, Laduma, actress Khanya Mkangisa, singer Nolly Nolz, rapper 25K, AmaPiano songstress Mawhoo and TV Personality Nomalanga Shozi to mention a few were also in attendance for a glamorous fun day out, enjoying the experience at the exclusive VIP Polo Room. As a standing polo tradition, guests had the opportunity to get up close and personal during the divot stomping.

From a luxurious lounge, guests enjoyed the game with aerial views of the field and in high-end comfort while sipping on Heineken as well cocktails curated by Diageo SA’s premium gin brand, Tanqueray and for those who needed something warmer, coffee courtesy of L’Or Espresso.

The ground-breaking mixed doubles tournament format lived to its expectations, delivering electrifying matchups that saw team QMS take the title win, with team Alistair Group taking second place. Team Fire Reigns was crowned as the plate winners, while Jo Spilsbury and David Dvans were crowned as the MVP lady and man respectively.
