She rocketed to fame in 1972 for her performance in the pornographic film Deep Throat and later denounced the pornographic industry after it came out that her husband had allegedly forced her to do porn scenes at gunpoint; a biopic about Linda Lovelace (AKA Linda Susan Boreman) who became a leader in the anti-pornography and feminism movement in the early 80s, is set for release this year!
Our cover star Amanda Seyfreid has taken on the role as Linda Lovelace in the film, Lovelace. With a star-studded cast including Sharon Stone, Chloe Sevigny, James Franco (who plays a young Hugh Hefner!) and Peter Sarsgaard, we’re looking forward to seeing the film about a woman described as ‘courageous’, ‘a legend’ and a leader in women’s rights.
