JP Cooper’s music seems to connect with people.
His new EP ‘When The Darkness Comes’ is out now and it is a collection of superbly written songs. ‘Closer’ is rooted in fact, with him addressing his longing to be with his infant son. JP’s evocative lyricism has pulled at the heartstrings of its listeners.
Director Drew Cox was struck by the track and constructed a short film based on it. The video t male mental illness, the loss of a child and the need to communicate.
JP Cooper is an artist who understands how to use music as not only a form of expression; but, a release of true emotion – for both himself and the listener.
