Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist’s fool-proof tip for applying false lashes is so damn simple

false lashesA well-applied set of false lashes can complete a look. But they are not easy to apply, especially if you’ve got a shaky hand.

How many times have you ended up glueing your eyes together? Or got one on perfectly but struggled to get the second lash looking the same? It can be stressful and leave you with eyes streaming, makeup running and your lashes resembling two spiders on your face. We’ve all been there.

But the man responsible for making sure Kim Kardashian’s lashes are always on point has revealed the secret to applying your fake eyelashes perfectly ever time.

Mario Dedivanovic has been Kim K’s makeup artist for about a decade, so it’s clear he’s an expert in applying lashes in all kinds of exotic locations and situations.

He brought contouring to the masses so there’s no doubting the man has skills.

His trick for getting your lashes looking flawless is so simple that you will wonder why you never thought of it before.

Just lean your elbow on a flat surface during application and everything will go a whole lot smoother.

It sounds so simple but when you are in the bathroom or staring into your mirror, you often don’t think of how much easier it would be having something to steady your arm on.

Mario told People: “When you’re learning to apply them on yourself, especially if you don’t have a steady hand, rest your elbow on some surface in front of you, like a desk.

“It makes a world of a difference.”

The make-up artist also revealed that Ardells Individuals are his favourite lashes.

“I have so many pairs of these because I use it the most,” he revealed.

“I don’t love huge lashes and these are the most natural-looking.”

And if you don’t like wearing fake lashes, Mario revealed his tip for getting your own eyelashes looking their best.

He told Fabulous Online to always curl eyelashes before reaching for mascara.

“Something simple like curling the lashes can transform a face,” he explained.

“A lot of women will just put their mascara on, but giving the lashes a really big curl makes a huge difference, brightening and opening up the eyes.”
