The ’40s look is very much on trend, so it’ll be difficult to look outdated. That said, you don’t want to look like an extra from an old-time movie either, so don’t go vintage from top to toe! There are many ways to incorporate retro style into your modern wardrobe. The simplest route? Apply a slick of red lipstick, slip on a pair of peep-toe heels and add a detail like a great clutch bag, pearls or glam earrings. You could also belt a pretty blouse. And check out second-hand stores and markets for beautiful vintage dresses, then team them with modern hair (not too done) for a sexy, sophisticated look.
