Where have all the flowers gone

Gavin Rajah’s latest collection is an ode to Women in Africa.

African Fashion International opened its Fashion Week experience with the highly publicised African Fashion Unites show where Gavin Rajah showcased his collection, where have all the flowers gone.

The collection is an ode to women in Africa who have been victims of violence, xenophobia and crime.

‘The collection depicts the fragility of life and our need to make sure that we foster a culture for the value of life and women’, said Gavin.

The collection underpins a strong message of urging people in Africa to unite and aspire to fulfil common goals that uplift the continent as opposed to working against one another. The fragility of life of the role of powerful feminists on the continent is core to the presentation of this collection which he collaborated with Alwijn Burger of BlomBoy fame.
