A Fresh Take on Healthy Eating: Nestlé Launches GoodNes Digital Platform for South African Families

South Africa’s kitchens are getting a whole lot smarter this week as Nestlé officially introduces GoodNes, a new digital platform that puts practical, everyday nutrition at your fingertips. Hosted at the Discovery Healthy Food Studio in Sandton, the launch event brought together home cooks, media, wellness enthusiasts, and Nestlé’s nutrition experts for a hands-on look at the platform built to help families and individuals eat well without fuss. Attendees whipped up delicious recipes like the Maggi Lazenby stir-fry, combining some of their favourite brands – including Maggi 2-Minute Noodles and Worcestershire Sauce, to name a few.

GoodNes brings together recipes, meal planning, and practical nutrition tips in one easy-to-use digital tool. It is designed to help people make better choices at home with simple, realistic solutions that fit into everyday life. The platform supports users with everything from planning dinner and lunchbox guidance to understanding food labels, making healthy eating feel more manageable.

Guests who attended the launch got a first look at how the platform works, with a guided walk-through and interactive culinary stations led by Nestlé’s food experts, showcasing how GoodNes can help elevate the eating experience in anyone’s home. The atmosphere was warm, collaborative and full of flavour, perfectly aligned with what GoodNes stands for. Head Chef for the day and much-loved food personality Neo Nontso (DinewithDineo) led the live cooking sessions, offering practical tips and delicious new takes on everyday meals.
