Social Media reacts to season three of Kings of Jo'burg

Created by the late Shona Ferguson, Kings of Jo'burg has lived on beyond his legacy. The series follows the ruthless Masire family, who have built their empire through the criminal underworld,  all while contending with a supernatural curse that haunts their very own throne.

In Season Three, the family turns to the King of Cape Town, Gavin Salat, portrayed by South African actor Clink Brint, whose performance was widely praised. The storyline sees the Masires and Salat embroiled in a fierce battle involving both firepower and spiritual forces.

This season also introduces a romantic subplot for Veronica Masire, portrayed by Connie Ferguson with American actor Malik Yoba,  known for his roles in Why Did I Get Married? by Tyler Perry and as NYPD Detective J.C. Williams in New York Undercover , joining the cast.

With a total of seven episodes, this season delivers a strong, well-executed narrative, brought to life by a mix of familiar faces and exciting new talent. The characters are portrayed with intensity and depth, embodying the grit and mystique that fans have come to expect from the series.

Viewers were quick to share their reactions, with a range of opinions expressed,  but the overall sentiment was one of positive appreciation for the new season.
