3 Smoothies to power up your day

We all know the best way to kickstart any day is with a well-balanced breakfast. But, let’s be honest, we don’t always have time to whip up a big breakfast. So, for the busy (or lazy) girl, a healthy smoothie can be a great alternative. Throw a handful of ingredients in the blender and 30 seconds later – bam!– brekkie to go. Ahead, three easy drinks to keep you energised and healthy all day long.

CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA BOMB SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

- 1/2 Banana

- 1 tsp Raw cacao powder

- 1 tbsp Organic peanut butter

- 3/4 cup Milk (can substitute with soya, a nut or coconut milk)

- Handful of ice cubes

Method

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Add more ice if you would like the shake thinner and more cacao if you want a more ‘chocolate’ taste. Drink immediately to avoid setting and clumping.
