If you’re in Sandton, you’ll want to celebrate Mother’s Day at Central One Bar and Restaurant at Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel or Vivace at Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton. Central One Bar and Restaurant will be hosting an italian-inspired buffet lunch on Sunday, 14 May 2023 between 12:30 and 15:30. For R495 per person, you will be treated to a welcome drink and live entertainment along with a delicious five course meal.

Your dining experience will start off with Nonnie’s hearty minestrone soup, served with freshly baked focaccia. This will be followed by an antipasti of mortadella, beef carpaccio , marinated olives, garlic-roasted baby marrow, minted garlic green beans, caponata and roasted peppers, wild rocket and parmesan as well as caprese with bocconcini and cherry tomatoes tossed in basil pesto. On offer for mains: creamy polenta, oven roasted Mediterranean vegetables with garlic and rosemary new potatoes, Melanzane alla Parmigiana, zesty chicken Picatta and slow-cooked Osso Bucco. If that’s not enough, you have access to a live pasta station, where chefs will freshly prepare your pasta of choice in front of you. You can choose between a variety of pastas: spaghetti, penne, potato gnocchi and tagliatelle and sauces: beef ragu, carbonara, basil pesto, puttanesca. Your dining experience will end on a sweet note! Think decadent tiramisu, zesty lemon ricotta almond cake and fresh berry vanilla panna cotta.

On the other hand, Vivace will be hosting a mediterranean-inspired buffet lunch on the same day. Roasted tomato, pepper & rosemary soup

Mixed salad leaves, olives, peppers, cucumber, feta cheese, cocktail tomato, garlic croutons, peppadew, red onions

Roasted Butternut & wild rocket salad, dressed with olive and white balsamic vinegar topped with toasted pumpkin seeds
