"I am super excited about the relationship. It all started on Instagram actually," Bonolo tells GLAMOUR. "I document most of my hair journey on my Instagram account and will often see my images being reposted on the various dreadlocks accounts. Dr lots also posted one of my pictures, and at the time, had never heard of them being spoken about in the South African haircare market. I was really shocked when one day, they sent a direct message to me after reposting one of my images, telling me of the traction received after posting my image, they also loved how I manage my account and how versatile it is. My relationship with them started then and over some time, trust was built between me and the brand. I resonated a lot with their story and their commitment to dreadlock-care,'' she adds.
Dr Locs was founded by hairstylist and dreadlocks specialist, Chimere Faulk who is based in the USA - Atlanta.
