Beyonce stuns at Global Citizen Festival in a dress by SA designers

If you were at or watched Beyonce's performance at Sunday's Global Citizen Festival, you will agree with us that she not only slayed her performance, but her outfits were also fire. What impressed us is when we found out that her last outfit was designed locally. The dress was an inspiration of the “METAMORPHOSIS” line recently showcased by Quiteria & George at Africa Fashion Week. 'We have always made it our mission to one-day dress Beyoncé, but we never thought that the day would come so soon. This dress was designed with the purpose to showcase our capabilities and is reflective of all the positive changes taking place,' says Quiteria Kekana, co-designer at Quiteria & George.

 For this particular design, the designer duo collaborated with Manualrossa Apparel, which was founded and owned by Enhle Mbali Maphumulo, who is also wife to renowned DJ Black Coffee. 'Having recently launched two stores of my design brand for pregnant women in Johannesburg and New York  – I am happy that I could collaborate in this historical creation, and represent not only South Africa’s fashion industry, but its talent.'

Here's a look at the stunning creation;
