Decorex Cape Town 2026: Four Days of Design, Makers and Ideas

Four days. Hundreds of brands. Thousands of ideas. One of the most anticipated design event son the African calendar. Decorex Cape Town returns to the CTICC this June with lifestyle partners Santam, Lexus and City of Cape Town.

The countdown to Decorex Cape Town has officially begun. From 25 to 28 June 2026, Africa’s leading decor and design platform returns to the Cape Town International Convention Centre, giving trade professionals and design enthusiasts four days to explore the ideas, makers and products shaping how we live now.

Whether you're specifying products for a project, searching for your next design investment, planning a renovation or simply looking for fresh inspiration, Decorex brings together the people, ideas and products shaping the future of African design under one roof.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors will encounter designer-led installations, thought-provoking showcases and carefully considered spaces that invite a slower, more intentional way of engaging with design.

Lexus sets the tone with its VIP lounge — exclusively available to guests of the Lexus concierge service — seamlessly integrating softness into the narrative of the event. Beyond lies a carefully curated landscape of installations that reward exploration.

Ten x Ten brings together 100 of the most compelling design objects from across Africa and beyond, tracing connections between makers, materials and cultures. Nearby, 100% Local celebrates the ingenuity of South African design, while Flood Light, created with acclaimed lighting designer Martin Döller, reveals how light can transform not only a room, but the way we experience it.

Woven between these installations are spaces designed for presence rather than pace. Thoughtfully designed pause areas, including the Happinest Bubbly Bar, Klay Bistro, 100%Design Restaurant by Loredana Morton Interiors, and Rialheim Café, encourage connection and unhurried conversation.

Over at the Lexus Recharge Garage, designed by Tshepo Sealetsa, an interior and product designer, a feeling of stillness, calm, and quiet intention sets the tone. Rather than approaching the space as a conventional product display, Sealetsa envisioned it as a moment of pause; a sanctuary where neutral tones, gentle lighting, and refined textures work in harmony to translate the Lexus RZ 450e's sense of flow directly into the environment.

In Moments of Attention with Woolworths, the Soft Life Kitchen by NUMU and The Soft Life Design Pods by Arc pop, Style ast, Karoo Baba and Constantia Fabrics, visitors are treated to an intimate, considered vision of domesticity where the powers of material choice, tactility and spatial arrangement are brought to life.

For visitors looking to leave with more than inspiration, Decorex’s programming offers real depth for trade experts and design enthusiasts alike.

At Future Talks, presented by Oggie –Africa’s largest importer of sustainable hardwood flooring and cladding –, leading voices across interiors, architecture, craft and materials convene over four days of future-facing design dialogue that can earn attendees 2 CPD points.

Chefs like Zola Nene and Lerato Maleswena will put @home cookware, utensils, tableware and surfaces to work in the @home Cooking Studio, built by Sprung Outdoor. Here, visitors can experience not only how the products perform but also how thoughtful design transforms the  kitchen into a place of comfort, creativity and connection.

The Discovery Bank DIY Studio opens the floor to practical building and making sessions. The interactive build-and-learn space gives visitors the chance to learn hands-on tips to transform their homes and receive expert guidance about how best to activate their bond and invest in the spaces they live in. Expect insights from interior designer Bridget Meier on the latest Home Décor Trends, as well as Angela Glover from Discovery Home Loans, who will speak to home projects and renovations and how to finance them.

And for those looking to take a piece of the show home with them, the Capitec Design Market brings independent makers, small studios and established brands together in a design shopper’s paradise.

Whether you’re refreshing your home, sourcing new products or deepening your design thinking, Decorex Cape Town 2026 promises four days of ideas, encounters and experiences that go beyond the expected. Tickets are available now at decorex.co.za and at the door.
