Let's unpack the drama unfolding on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip: Africa

There’s a lot going on in Brazil this season, and honestly, it’s not always cute. The ladies are at each other’s throats at every turn, but what are they really fighting over? Even Pablo seems confused. He mentioned to Christall that guests who stay over are usually quite chill, which begs the question: what’s making these women so unsettled?

We have many questions, but one thing is certain...Dr C and Christall always seem to be at the centre of the drama. Madame, who is usually composed, has had her own moments with Dr C, and the beach scene where the word “itchy” refused to leave the conversation, played out like something straight from a comedy sketch. While the scene itself was laughable, the mean-girl energy that’s lingered throughout the season is far from okay.

When fans noticed that Christall couldn’t catch a break, some even called for the show to be cancelled. While she’s had her fair share of questionable moments and does tend to alter facts from time to time, it does feel like some of the ladies are committed to misunderstanding her. That said, she clearly has a strong fan base, with her community rallying firmly behind her. Her conversation with Pablo also revealed a more vulnerable and likable side, which added depth to her storyline.

Madame, too, has offered Christall a soft landing. How thoughtful was it to take her along on that helicopter ride? Madame is certainly a real one.

And can we finally put the cheating men debate to rest? Nonku… when we find you. 😅

Overall, this trip has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. One definite highlight was seeing the ladies actually enjoy themselves at the beach. It’s rare, but when they do get along, it’s always a good time. Still, watching grown women tear each other down instead of uplifting one another does get exhausting. Hopefully, as their time in Brazil winds down, the ladies will find common ground and truly enjoy the experience.

We’re rooting for you, ladies. In the meantime, here are some of the reactions from social media…
