Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa spark dating rumours - and the internet is conflicted

Arguably one of South Africa’s most precious exports, Trevor Noah is loved for his quick wit and charming personality. Since moving to the US nearly seven years ago, the Soweto-born comedian has grown to become one of the most successful men in television.

But it’s not only his gig with The Daily Show that’s garnered him attention. For a bevy of Hollywood beauties, his striking good looks have also made an impact. The Day Walker showman has previously been linked to the likes of Minka Kelly and singer Jordan Taylor.

Now, the internet has gone into a frenzy with the news that Trevor Noah (38) and Dua Lipa (27) might be a thing. The pair were spotted grabbing dinner together in NYC, and afterwards, enjoyed a hug and a kiss in the street before departing.

It’s unclear how long Noah and Lipa have been involved, but their reported date comes one year after the Sweetest Pie hitmaker broke things off with Gigi and Bella Hadid's younger brother, Anwar Hadid.

The former couple dated for approximately 2 years and this is the first time Lipa has been linked to someone since the breakup. However, while the news of her coupling up with Trevor Noah is indeed exciting, the two make an unlikely pair, and fans are understandably surprised.

In addition to the images of their alleged date being released, Noah announced on the same day (29 September) that he is officially leaving The Daily Show after seven years.
