The Royalty Soapie Awards 2021 took place at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre in Johannesburg over the weekend and South African artists and entertainers graced the red carpet with their glamour and style.
This year the fifth annual Royalty Soapie Awards was hosted by actress Enhle Mbali and comedian Felix Hlophe.
South African sensation soap Diep City walked away with the most awards this year, Dr Lillian Dube took the Lifetime Achievement Award, Lusanda Mbane won Outstanding Lead Actress for her role as Boniswa Langa in Scandal and Nompumelelo Vilakazi won the Outstanding Newcomer award for her role as Sne Gwala in DiepCity.
The awards ceremony will air next Saturday, October 2nd 2021 on SABC 1 at 19h30.
