As someone who struggles with finding the perfect jeans fit due to my curvy silhouette I am relieved to find that the G-star shape jeans are back but this time with a strong focus on fit. This time they've expanded their denim silhouettes to include two more styles instead of just the skinny.
This is good news for anyone who's ever pulled on a pair of jeans and thought almost.
First introduced in 2017, G-Star SHAPE returns with a renewed focus on movement, on fit and modern silhouettes. Originally engineered to challenge traditional women’s denim fits, the range was designed around real proportions- combining structure, comfort and shape that works with the body, not against it.
Now re-imagined exclusively for the South African market, the new G-Star SHAPE collection expands beyond the original SHAPE Skinny to introduce two new fits: SHAPE Straight and SHAPE Loose. From sculpted skinnies to relaxed loose silhouettes, each fit was developed to give women the freedom to move, work and live with confidence and ease.
As part of the local launch, G-Star South Africa collaborated with women including to explore how SHAPE moves through everyday life-captured through moments of movement, ease and modern dressing.
Whether designed to sculpt, define or create relaxed structure, the new SHAPE range reflects a more considered approach to women’s denim, one built around how women actually wear and live in their jeans today.
