This week a few must have winter items have caught my eye and have the potential to impact my wallet. Whether it is a negative or positive impact is for me to decide and you to ponder. Nonetheless we should never gate keep and as such I am happy to share some items that are on my radar.
One of the biggest winter fashion trends off the runways has been the bright acid colours that were showcased. Givenchy, Valentino and Gucci were some of the brands that decided that an electric hue is exactly what we needed to wear this season.With this in mind I found a stunning faux leather option from local retailer Poetry that will be a perfect addition to your wardrobe. This colour might not be for everyone and that is perfectly fine, but for those that enjoy striking hues, will find this a must have addition to their wardrobes.
The cowboy trend is here to stay and as such one of my must have items for this winter is the cowboy boots. I have invested in a black pair which I wear religiously but I was in search of another colour and found a dark beige option to include in my wardrobe. The best thing about this trend is that it comes back every few years which makes this an investment piece. These boots can be styled with almost anything in your wardrobe.
Birkenstock released some of their newest styles for the winter season and the Shearling-lined footbed to the sought-after Boston clog in Taupe, alongside the beloved Mink and Stone Coin colours are a must. With added warmth and comfort, Shearling offers a stylish yet cosy aesthetic.
Since chocolate brown has been the hottest colour for the autumn/winter season adding this hue is a must. Cotton On has a saddle bag in the perfect shade and large enough to hold all my essentials. If you are a sneaker fan Puma Speedcat in a brown shade is the one for you.
Don't forget to include a fresh pair of shades to your wardrobe. Accessorising with the perfect pair instantly elevates your look and your mood. When we look good we feel good and present ourselves more confidently to the world. Lastly and certainly not least. A long length coat for the cold winter months is a non negotiable for me. A reversible one is simply a bonus. Zara offers you their double faced reversible option which gives you two different style coats for the price one. This coat has my stamp of approval.
