In a celebration of brilliance, innovation, and women empowerment, GLAMOUR South Africa hosted its Women of the Year Awards (#WOTY2024) under the theme Game Changers Edition. This prestigious event serves as a platform to recognize and honour extraordinary women who are breaking barriers, redefining success, and making remarkable contributions across diverse fields.
The much-anticipated awards ceremony took place at the lush Summer Place in Hyde Park on Saturday, the 23rd of November. Guests from far and wide arrived in style for the pink carpet affair, including South Africa’s elite, trailblazing business leaders, and influential figures across industries.
Hosted by our Spring Issue Cover Star, Hulisani Ravele, adding a sentimental layer to the auspicious occasion. The tone of the event was aptly captured by the well deserving winners who took a moment to not only revel in the moment but to also reflect on the year that was. As a global event, the Women of the Year Awards has honoured an array of international icons, most recently, Serena Williams, Taraji P. Henson and Pamela Anderson.
