Watch Queen Charlotte Star Arsema Thomas Do Her Night-Out Makeup Look

“I never realized [that] I definitely needed a skin-care routine until after I was coming off of set every day,” says Arsema Thomas, who stars as young Lady Agatha Danbury in Netflix’s Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Post-on-screen transformation, Thomas relies on exfoliation courtesy of Cocokind’s sea moss powder, face masks, under-eye patches, and a cocktail of hydrating serums to nourish her visage. “Remember to put on your sunscreen!” says the 28-year-old while massaging on a veil of Undefined Beauty SPF. Then, with her complexion fresh and glowing, she’s ready to walk us through her night-out makeup regimen.

To begin, Thomas blends in NARS’s Soft Matte Foundation—a formula she wore while filming the long-awaited Bridgerton prequel—followed by Hourglass concealer. She then preps her eyelashes with Vaseline: “It [applies] thicker when you put on mascara, and it also means that it comes right off when you take it off,” she explains. Next, the star creates a sculpted contour, enhanced with washes of bronzer and shimmering highlight. Then, she accentuates her eyes with black winged eyeliner, a subtle red shadow, and a coat of mascara; and brushes her brows into place with a clear gel, filling in sparse areas with a pencil. For lips, she favors Bobbi Brown’s soft-matte pigment in the shade Rich Brown, layered beneath a vibrant plum lipstick perfect for nighttime. Thomas completes her look with a spritz of Urban Decay setting spray and a dab of Nest New York’s vanilla-scented perfume oil. “Well, that is everything! Thank you so much for watching,” she says in her tell-tale British accent.
