DBN Gogo set to perform at Coachella!

It’s DBN Gogo’s world, and we’re just living in it. The amapiano DJ and former Glamour cover star is set to perform at Coachella Music Festival.

The ‘Khuza Gogo’ hitmaker, who’s real name is Mandisa Radebe, took to Instagram on Wednesday to break the news to her followers and fans.

“Pushing P @coachella,” she captioned the post. DBN Gogo will be joined on stage by fellow South African hip-hop/Kwaito group Major League.

DBN Gogo’s Coachella gig marks a culmination of a stellar few months for the star.

She sparked a viral challenge all over social media last year with her song ‘Dakiwe’ with Lady Du, dominated the charts with her hit songs across the country, launched her own record label Zikode Records, and is currently enjoying a blossoming relationship with rapper Focalistic.

After performing across the globe, including multiple boiler room sets, Tribe music festival in Amsterdam, and Amapiano festival in Ghana, DBN Gogo will now be gracing the Coachella stage on the weekends of 15 and 22 April 2022.

In an interview with Glamour SA, DBN Gogo describes amapiano as more than just a genre of music. It’s “a culture, way of life and livelihood, rooted in uniqueness and inclusivity,” she says.

The passion she has for her craft has captured and enamoured fans all over the globe, and through her presence on international stages, she continues to pioneer and shape the amapiano wave across the world.

We can’t wait to see her light up Coachella with her talent and phenomenal stage presence.
