Day Zero is quickly aproaching

Day Zero has been moved to 12 April, and Capetonians have been warned to step up their water-saving game or face disastrous consequences. City of Cape Town Deputy Mayor Ian Neilson on Tuesday urged residents to drastically cut down on their water usage. “Unfortunately, due to a drop in the dam levels of 1.4%, Day Zero has, as of today, moved forward to 12 April 2018,” he said. “However, it is still possible to push back Day Zero if we all stand together now and change our current path. Now is the time to do so. We will not be getting second chances.”

Instagram’s new feature is a massive gamechanger

When Instagram introduced filters and stickers, our stories changed forever. Now the social media platform is letting users add even more sass to their stories by adding GIFs. If that wasn’t enough to get you excited, in the coming weeks, Instagram will also be rolling out the ability to upload photos and videos of any size to your story — so you never have to crop a furious friend out of that group snap again. Crazy times we’re living in people!
