Fashion stylist Robynne Kahn’s top tips for dressing for a night out

After almost two years of lockdown restrictions, curfews, Zoom calls, banana bread bake-offs and far too much homeschooling, it’s time to treat yourself to gorgeous heels, a slinky new jumpsuit and, most importantly, celebrate your wonderful girlfriends.

Reconnecting with them in person is essential for your mental health and will give you a fashion fix.

Fashion tips from expert stylist Robynne Kahn:

1. Coordinate your outfit by colour-matching your accessories. A green belt and clutch or gold hoops and heels, for example.

2. Tone-on-tone dressing is on-trend and stress-free. Head-to-toe brights are the way to go – think fuchsia pink!

3. Go bold, or go home! Clash your brights. Pink and orange or lemon yellow with pops of turquoise turn heads.

4. If you’re more of an LBD (Little Black Dress) babe, add a pop of colour with a bold eye or lip, or level up your fave black jumpsuit with gold accessories and strappy heels to instantly take your look from day to play.

5 Add that drip! Don’t forget your nails! Ombré, dipped, embellished or almond- shaped, it’s the fiercestway to stay on-trend.

The ultimate accessory

Now you’ve got your glam colour sorted, add a bottle of Cape Velvet Cream, your new best friend and ultimate fashion accessory for 2022.

Its curvy black bottle is a chic, stylish addition to any drinks tray or table. It’s made with real cream for a rich, smooth taste and a silky, velvety texture and is now available in two new flavours, Strawberry and Chocolate-Caramel.

Pop some in a wine glass, with or without ice, and say cheers to yourself and your girlfriends.
