On Saturday, 24 January 2026, traffic came to a standstill as Zeitz MOCAA transformed into a glamorous Bridgerton-inspired spectacle for the premiere of Season 4 of Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton.
Celebrities and influencers flocked to Cape Town, joined by cast members Masali Baduza, who plays Michaela Stirling, Martins Imhangbe, who has been part of the series since its inception as Will Mondrich, and Emma Naomi, who portrays his on-screen wife, Alice Mondrich.
Guests embraced the Afro Couture theme, arriving in breathtaking ensembles that blended regal elegance with African-inspired design. South African media mogul and entrepreneur Bonang Matheba hosted the evening, looking effortlessly glamorous in a pink creation by Nigerian designer Mazelle Bridal.
Among the notable attendees were former Miss Universe and actress Zozibini Tunzi, Actress, Khanyi Mbau, Mzansi;s entertainment power couple, Dineo Langa, Solo Tsizwa, media personality Blue Mbombo, GLAMOUR's Most GLAMOURous award winner Naliyani Uma and many more. The red carpet was a sight to behold, with impeccable production and intricate decorative details that transformed the venue into a real-life Bridgerton set.
A live orchestra added a magical touch to the evening, elevating the experience with beautifully orchestrated renditions of local songs.
Bridgerton Season 4 will officially premiere on 29 January 2026, with Part Two set to release on 26 February 2026.
