Viewers were particularly impressed by the sharp wit of the Roast masters, Tumi Morake and Jason Goliath, seasoned sports broadcaster, Robert Marawa and content creator, Lasizwe, who left no stone unturned with their punchy lines. Comedians Celeste Ntuli and Trevor Gumbi also brought their A-game, delivering laughs aplenty.
Kudos to Showmax for impeccable timing and delivering one of the most memorable roasts in recent history. Minnie Dlamini, the guest of honor, took the jabs in stride, ending the show with an unforgettable line: "I ain't paying no fuc**n maintenance." This witty retort addressed rumours circulating about her alleged spousal support payments, adding a final flourish to the evening.
