Japanese whiskey is gaining popularity worldwide and Suntory Whisky Toki, with notes of grapefruit, green grapes, thyme and peppermint and the scent of green apple and honey, is a whisky you’ll love instantly. Toki is versatile and can be enjoyed in a cocktail, neat or on the rocks. We love their twist on the old fashioned called the Toki Soy Old Fashioned, here’s how to make it.

Ingredients:

Toki whisky 50ml

Soy sauce 5ml

Honey 5ml

Method:

Place a big solid piece of ice in a tumbler and add all the ingredients. Give it a stir and add some orange zest.

Ingredients:

Roku Gin 50ml

Egg white/Cellulose 15ml

Lemon juice 20ml

Sugar syrup 20ml

Muddled raspberries (about 5)

Ice

Method:

Place all your ingredients except the ice, into a blender and blitz. Strain the mixture over some ice and dust with cinnamon. A tumbler glass is the best fit for this cocktail.

If you’re just getting into it bourbon you’ll love this sophisticated and simple cocktail made with Jim Beam bourbon paired with soda water and a lemon wedge. You’ll enjoy this is you’re already a fan of bourbon too.

Method:

Chill the glass, the soda water and Jim Beam bourbon. Squeeze the lemon wedge and place it in the glass and fill with ice. Add 50ml of bourbon and slowly top up the glass with 120ml soda water. Stir once and you’re set.
