Ahead of one of the biggest moments in South African music this year, RocoMamas has teamed up with Scorpion Kings to launch a limited-edition King’s Feast menu that celebrates local creativity, culture and bold flavour.
Available nationwide from 1 September 2026, the collaboration builds excitement ahead of the duo’s highly anticipated Scorpion Kings Live at FNB Stadium concert on 19 September, bringing together two proudly South African brands that have shaped culture in their respective industries.
The partnership reflects the growing influence of South African creativity across music, art, fashion and lifestyle. Through the King’s Feast, RocoMamas is creating a unique way for fans to engage with one of the country's most anticipated entertainment events.
The limited-edition menu reimagines familiar local flavours through the bold, smash burger lens that has made RocoMamas famous. Inspired by the personalities and energy of Scorpion Kings, the menu features three exclusive items.
The Madumane Double, inspired by DJ Maphorisa, is a 200g double beef smash burger layered with chakalaka, chorizo and cheese on a brioche bun. The Papta Sting, inspired by Kabza De Small, combines southern fried chicken, jalapeños and atchar on a brioche bun, delivering a fiery flavour profile rooted in local tastes. Completing the line-up is the Scorpion Kings Pan, a feast designed for sharing, bringing together ribs, chicken strips, wings, chakalaka, coleslaw and two signature dipping sauces, including a spicy peri sauce.
"RocoMamas has always championed bold self-expression and the people shaping South African culture," says Dr Tumi Sebopa, Head of Brands at Spur Corporation. "Scorpion Kings have played a defining role in the rise of Amapiano as a global cultural movement, making this a natural partnership. The King's Feast menu was inspired by flavours that South Africans know and love, reimagined through the unmistakably bold RocoMamas lens. We drew inspiration from local favourites, combining them with the burgers, wings and ribs that have become synonymous with RocoMamas.
From township dance floors to international stages, Amapiano has become one of South Africa’s most influential cultural exports. At the forefront of that movement are Scorpion Kings, whose impact extends far beyond music into fashion, lifestyle and youth culture. The collaboration with RocoMamas celebrates that influence while shining a spotlight on South African talent and creative expression.
“RocoMamas is a brand that understands the energy, creativity and boldness of South African culture, so this collaboration felt like a natural fit for us. We love seeing Amapiano continue to influence different parts of culture, and the King’s Feast brings that same spirit of flavour, personality and fun to the table. We’re excited for fans to experience it ahead of Scorpion Kings Live at FNB Stadium.” says Scorpion Kings
The partnership will extend beyond RocoMamas restaurants to the Scorpion Kings concert at FNB Stadium on 19 September, where RocoMamas will serve fans, and artists, bringing the collaboration to life on one of South Africa’s biggest stages.
The limited-edition King’s Feast menu will be available at participating RocoMamas restaurants nationwide from 1 September 2026 for a limited time.
