Head to Bedford Centre from March 28th to April 14th for an eggs-travaganza like no other! Step into a world of creativity as local high schools showcase their talent through beautifully decorated eggs. Each egg tells a unique story, reflecting the ingenuity and artistic flair of our community's youth.

But that's not all – you have the power to choose the ultimate egg champion! Scan the QR code next to your favorite egg to cast your vote. The winning school will be rewarded with a R10 000 gift card courtesy of Bedford Centre.

While you're there, indulge your sweet tooth at our delectable chocolate setup on the lower level from 14 March till 29 March, presented by PnP. Discover a tempting array of treats from renowned brands like Beacon, Lindt, Cadbury, and more. It's a chocolate lover's paradise!

The Chocolate Café

Set to delight chocolate fanatics and Easter enthusiasts, the immersive world now includes an interactive activity hub and shopping section, set to keep even the busiest bunnies enthralled between 20 March to 1 April 2024.

Taking place in the Sandton City centre court, young and old can get creative with chocolate, from decorating your very own Easter cookie, to building your signature holiday s’mores and packing your Easter Bunny cracker to the brim. The Chocolate Café will also offer the tastiest array of Easter treats from sought after brands including Beacon, Beyers, Cadbury, Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Joy, Lindt, Mister Sweet and Sally Williams, creating a tantalizing one stop Easter retail destination.

“Sandton City is known for its unparallelly retail and lifestyle experiences, and this Easter, we plan to continue to offer visitors to the centre even more delicious, unforgettable moments,” said Dimitri Kokinos, Asset Manager of Sandton City. “From indulging in exquisite chocolate centerpieces to savoring artisanal delights from top chocolatiers across the country, Sandton City offers an abundance of choices. And, with the new edition of our Chocolate Café, this year's festivities promise to be truly legendary."

Magical Easter at Melrose Arch - 29 March to Monday 1 April 2024

Get ready for an Easter celebration like no other as Melrose Arch unveils its enchanting plans for Magical Easter at Melrose Arch 2024. From. Johannesburg families are invited to immerse themselves in a world abuzz with excitement and delight at Gauteng's premier lifestyle destination.

Participants under 13 years old can embark on an adventure filled with sweet surprises waiting to be to found. Due to popular demand, tickets must be purchased through Computicket, as places are limited. As part of the hunt, children will receive a delicious Melrose Arch filled treat box. Appearances from characters such as fairies, bunnies, and elves will enhance the ambiance, ensuring an egg-ceptional experience for all.

Throughout the Easter weekend, the Melrose Arch Piazza will host a range of activities daily from 10am to 5pm. Children can enjoy the Clamber Club entertainers, obstacle courses, interactive games, face painting, and more. Indulge in delicious ice cream from Paul's Homemade Ice Cream, available with various tempting Easter themed toppings.

The Swirl Smashed and Rolled Ice Cream activation will give guests the chance to enjoy a fun-filled lucky draw game and stand a chance to win free ice cream vouchers. Toys and More will offer an array of Easter-themed toys throughout the weekend, including LED bunny ears and a wide selection of chocolate eggs.

For the grown-ups, live music will enhance the ambience on the Square on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March. Enjoy saxophone melodies from 1 – 4 PM while dining at Melrose Arch's renowned restaurants including Parreirinha Restaurante, Ocean Basket, Ghazal, Istanbul or Sebule.
