Beyoncé and Jay Z flash Justin Bieber’s mugshot on tour

Beyoncé and Jay Z have sparked outrage after they displayed Justin Bieber’s mugshot during the opening night of their On The Run tour in Miami last Wednesday.

They flashed his snap on a huge screen during a montage of celebrity prison photos. According to fans at the show, Beyoncé reportedly made a subtle dig at the “Baby” hitmaker as the infamous image popped up, and she said, “Even the greatest can fall.”

However, the troubled star wasn’t the only one to feature in the montage as stars such as Tupac, Robert Downey Jr, Russell Brand, 50 Cent and even Jay, 44, himself made an appearance on the large screen. Bieber’s been in trouble with the law a few times recently – read about that here and here – but has also been spotted enjoying some romantic everyday moments with Selena Gomez.

It was previously revealed that the power couple also treated fans to never-seen-before footage from their wedding day in April 2008. The intimate clip showed Beyoncé, 32, wearing a traditional white gown – which was designed by her mother Tina Knowles – and veil, with the rapper in a smart tuxedo as they exchanged vows and rings and had matching IV tattoos on their fingers.

Another video showed the couple walking down the aisle as watching guests threw confetti at them. The footage was shown towards the end of the couple’s 41-song set – which saw them perform both together and separately – as they sang “Young Forever”.

It’s also been reported that the power couple will “lead separate lives” on their tour.

The couple – whose marriage has been the subject of speculation since video footage of Beyoncé’s sister Solange assaulting Jay Z was revealed – are said to be only seeing one another on stage, as they travel separately and stay in different hotel rooms.

A source said: “They might be sharing a stage, but while on tour they’ll live practically separate lives. Tensions between them are worse than ever, meaning they will be travelling between venues independently, staying in different hotel suites and even having separate entourages. They’ll also have individual dressing rooms, so the only times they’ll be together will be while they’re performing.”

The insider admits they are struggling to trust one another.

The source told Grazia magazine: “They’ve both been dreading the tour. Cancelling wasn’t an option, so on the surface it’s going to be business as usual, but they’re both struggling with trust issues after the spate of cheating allegations. Jay’s given Beyonce unlimited access to his texts and emails to try and keep the peace, but a lot of their communication will be through assistants.”
