David Beckham wins Sexiest Man of The Year

Congratulations to David Beckham – he has been named Sexiest Man Alive for 2015 by People magazine.

The 40-year-old hottie and the father-of-four is definitely easy on the eye, that’s for sure.

Especially in those H&M ads, eh?

TV host Jimmy Kimmel revealed who had been given the crown on his show and David Beckham only saw the cover of the publication about an hour beforehand.

He joked: “It’s the best moment of my career, I can’t believe it.

“I’d obviously like to thank my parents for bringing me into this world. I would like to thank my hairdresser, my stylist, photoshop.”

David Beckham also told People: “It’s a huge honour and I’m very pleased to accept.”

But if you think he’s going to get a big ego, think again! He said: “I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person. I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way.”

Taking to Instagram, David uploaded a photo of the cover, and wrote: “I thought I was past my sell by date but thanks to People Magazine for the accolade and the compliment! I always feel a little shy when receiving these Awards, though it will make my Mum happy. This one the kids will laugh at, as they see what Daddy looks like in the morning!”
