How Channing Tatum keeps sane

Channing Tatum credits his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum – with whom he has 16-month-old daughter Everly – with helping “right the ship” when his emotions start getting the better of him.

He said: “She keeps us all sane. Jenna puts everything in perspective for me, always. I’ll find myself spinning out or angry or whatever, or even happy, and she always somehow ends up righting the ship.”

While Channing is busy promoting his new movie Foxcatcher, his days are less hectic as he has wrapped filming on Magic Mike XXL so is looking forward to spending more time with his family.

He told People magazine: “I just want to have that, more of that, more time with the family.”

And as well as Jenna, 33, Channing is also thankful for the support of Mark Ruffalo, 46, who he says will always be his “big brother” after they played siblings in Foxcatcher.

He said: “Mark Ruffalo will forever and ever be my big brother, whether he wants me or not. I would never have been able to survive this movie without him and, truthfully, he’s a star.”
