Is Robert Pattinson planning his debut fashion line?
The Dior Homme campaign star and former Twilight actor says he’s been designing clothes, based around whatever city he’s travelling in.
“I’ve started making clothes,” he told Número magazine. “For the last two years, I’ve been visiting producers and craftsmen. There’s already quite a few pieces. I love doing it. My style is influenced by the cities I go to, sourcing fabrics and local skills. In Los Angeles it’s really easy to work with denim and do workwear-inspired clothes. In England I look more toward wool and knitwear.”
By the sounds of it his pieces are for both men and women, not that he wants to divulge too much just yet.
“What I do is pretty multifaceted, clothes for men and for women, things that I make with friends,” he explained. “But I’m not going into too much detail, I don’t want to jinx anything.”
Will it be a collaboration with a fashion house or will he go it alone? Will his stylish girlfriend FKA Twigs help? Pattinson is obviously not the first celebrity to have dabbled in fashion design – others have included Kate Bosworth, David Beckham and Kanye West. And Pattinson is a snappy dresser… We’re intrigued.
