Kim Kardashian has shot down rumours she’s having a huge wedding in Paris, which will be filmed for her reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The 33-year-old star took to her Twitter account to address rumours surrounding her and her fiancé’s big day in Paris on May 24
She tweeted: “Seeing so many different reports not gonna start disputing them all but a few I want to straighten out…
“1. We are not married yet
“2. We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“You will see everything leading up til and after!
“As much as we would love to share these memories on camera, we’ve decided to keep this close to our heart & share thru photos
“3. No guest list has been released. Seeing fake ones. Especially not 1600 people invited like I just read. Its VERY small & intimate (sic)”.
The couple – who have 10-month-old daughter North together – were rumoured to have tied the knot last weekend in a private ceremony in Los Angeles after allegedly securing a marriage licence last month.
However, it is believed the loved-up duo will be forced to legally wed in California before their romantic bash in Paris after it was revealed the French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get married in the country.
The brunette beauty has been busy preparing for her big day in the romantic city and recently admitted that she’s chosen her wedding gown after trying on “quite a few”.
Meanwhile, Kanye West has reportedly asked to use France’s Republican Guard, the country’s official security forces at his wedding.
He has put in a request to the French President Francois Hollande to use the country’s official security forces who protect the highest national personalities and important foreign guests.
A source said: “He’s asked his people to put in a request to French President Francois Hollande for the use of the Republican Guard, which provide his security.
“He’s asked for some of the 3,200-strong team to be dispatched to him for the day and has offered to pay $1 million for their services.”
Kanye reportedly wants their guests to be subjected to a pat-down and searched when they arrive.
The source explained: “They’ll be twice as many security staff than guests and metal detectors at all entry points. Kanye’s insists that everyone be checked. They will be monitored by CCTV and have phones and cameras confiscated.”
The “Bound 2” star also wants Paris airspace to be shutdown to prevent paparazzi getting exclusive shots of the big day.
A source told heat magazine: “Kanye is not only paranoid, he sees himself as the biggest star in the world and he wants to ensure that the city is prepared for ‘the wedding of the century’.
“He wants to shut down Paris airspace on their big day and has even put in a request to the director general of the French Aviation Authority.
“His team are trying to warn him that it’s unlikely to happen, but Kanye is convinced that their wedding is important enough.
With the couple spending millions of dollars, he believes it should be granted to them.”
