Meghan Markle returns to TV

Get ready for a dose of on-screen Meghan Markle sparkle!

Hit legal dramedy  Suits just doesn’t have that same must-see magnetism now that Meghan Markle is no longer part of the cast, but of course, the Duchess of Sussex had to give up her acting day job when she married into the British royal family. There’s no time for learning lines when you have royal duties to perform.

Luckily, watching reruns of  Suits will not be the only way to see Markle on the small screen with  Vanity Fair  reporting she’s set to appear in a documentary about The Queen, titled  Queen of the World, which will air on ITV next month (no details as yet on where you can watch it in South Africa).

This will mark the 37-year-old Duchess’s first appearance speaking on TV since she married Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor on May 19 this year.

Per  Vanity Fair the royal documentary, which will air over two parts, will “offer a unique insight into Her Majesty’s roles as a figure on the global stage and the baton she is passing to the younger members of the family as they continue her passion for the Commonwealth.”

The documentary is reportedly filled with interviews with royal family members including Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Charles, Prince William, Princess Anne and the Countess of Wessex.

People  reports Markle’s interview includes a discussion of her wedding dress and her “early interactions with the Commonwealth,” which we hope includes some mention of how she won The Queen over so quickly. Since marrying Prince William, Markle seems to have become Queen Elizabeth’s favourite royal family member.
