Nhlanhla Nciza calls it quits after 15 years of marriage

Nhlanhla Nciza from the Afro-Pop music group Mafikizolo has taken to social media platform Instagram to announce her separation from husband Thembinkosi “TK” Nciza on Thursday.

In a heartfelt post on the social media platform, Nciza said the couple were divorcing amicable after 15 years in marriage. Nciza expressed her appreciation to her ex-husband for the support he had shown towards her while they were married.

“I am thankful for the support we have given each other over the years while raising our children.We shall remain on good terms and continue our endeavour to be great and exemplary parents to our children,” wrote Nciza.

Nciza has also acknowledge support from her friends and family while she was appealing for privacy as the couple were going through the divorce.In 2002, Nciza was pregnant with twins when she was involved in a car crash that claimed one of the children.

The surviving twin, Zinathi, was killed in a car crash shortly before Christmas in 2009 when TK’s mom - who was driving with the little girl in her car- crashed into a tree.

The news of the couples split have caused a social media frenzy as the couples supporters and fans expressed their disbelief.
