When it comes to career advice however, not many of us have perfected the art like Olivia Palermo, who loves her giving her husband, Johannes Huebl, modelling tips.
The socialite and fashion designer – who stars in luxury skincare label La Mer’s new campaign alongside her model husband – has confessed working with her beau makes shoots “more fun” and particularly enjoys helping him perfect his pose.
She said: “It’s always interesting. Sometimes I can see a little bit of difference, whether it’s an arm that needs to be placed differently. We always give each other pointers, not in a criticising way. It’s really fun. We definitely enjoy having funny moments and time. We’re very much on the same page about how we work together and it makes it more fun.”
In the end it all comes down to an understanding between partners. Whether business and pleasure always go well, or whether taking a colleague home each night affects work performance relies entirely on the couple and the work involved. Modelling after all is not your average job and it’s not often expected to get up-close and personal with a co-worker in the workplace.
