Grammy Winner Sheryl Crow has been diagnosed with a common form of brain tumour known as a meningioma. The singer broke the news to a reporter saying, ”I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI- and I found out I have a brain tumour! And I was, like, see? I knew there was something wrong!”
This comes after she forgot the lyrics to her song, Soak Up the Sun, on stage in February and joked to the Florida audience that her brain had failed, “I’m 50, what can I say? My brain’s gone to s**t.”
The good news however, is that she and her rep have confirmed that the tumour is benign. ”[Sheryl] has no symptoms and everything is fine. It was a random mention during the interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone. She is doing great and is healthy and happy.”
