Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney have recently gotten engaged and the logical next step? Buy a house of course!
It is said that Lady Gaga and her new fiancé snapped up a secluded mountain-top home in Lancaster in 2013 for just over R4 550 000 and are hoping the love nest will be the perfect place to escape the spotlight after they’ve tied the knot.
The couple, who have been dating since 2011, regularly stay at the house, which is a few miles from the centre of Lancaster – Taylor’s hometown – and is only accessible via a secret single track road, according to the MailOnline.
Taylor popped the question to Gaga on Valentine’s Day this year in Manhattan, and the eccentric star announced the news to us the following day on Instagram.
She posted a photograph of her stunning heart-shaped engagement ring, which she accompanied with the caption: “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES! (sic).”
She’s obviously amazed by her diamond sparkler (aren’t we all?) as she shared another snap of it on her Facebook account on Wednesday (18 Feb 2015) and revealed her beau has always called her by her birth name Stefani, since their first date.
She captioned the image: “My favorite part of my engagement ring, Taylor and Lorraine designed “TS” in white diamonds on the band. He always called me by my birth name. Since our very first date. I’m such a happy bride-to-be! I can’t stop smiling!! (sic)”
