Victoria Beckham unveils her eerie new campaign

Victoria Beckham has unveiled images of models pretending to be unconscious for her Victoria, Victoria Beckham autumn/winter 2015 collection.

Vic’s latest range of clothing sees a number of models posing in unusual positions with their eyes closed. In one picture a woman wearing a denim jumpsuit is lying spread eagled on the floor before changing into a leopard print dress and posing as if her lifeless body had been slumped over a chair.

The Victoria Beckham label told MailOnline, “For the past four seasons we have invited a photographer to interpret the Victoria, Victoria Beckham collection according to their own creative vision.  This season we worked with Colin Dodgson, who is known for his idiosyncratic style of photography, to shoot the AW15 collection within this series”

In another of the eerie snaps taken by the fashion photographer, the model is dressed in a purple patent leather dress while sat awkwardly on her knees with her head flung back behind her. The shots have been compared to the controversial “heroin chic” look of the early 90s, which saw the careers of models including Kate Moss launched.

Victoria’s label describes the sister collection as: “Free spirited and fun – key features are made of classic fabrics such as ginghams, tweeds and leathers, which are twisted and played with to create new and modern statements.”

Meanwhile, Dodgson specialises in capturing “the vitality of youth and fashion with disarming frankness,” according to his website.

It reads: “His rendering of colour and shrewd approach to urban, often minimal environments, produces surprising photographs of casual sophistication and sly humour.”
