Kendall Jenner may have a new line to add to her résumé: actress. For day four of Love magazine’s 2017 advent calendar, the supermodel channelled her inner Sylvester Stallone and provided some serious gym inspiration.
She starts the short YouTube clip by downing two raw eggs and then proceeds to the ring to practice her boxing moves in an all-grey sweatsuit. But jabs and right hooks are not the only things Jenner has been practising — you can argue she’s been beefing up her acting range as she also plays Rocky’s girlfriend, Adrian in the video. Dressed in a white ruffle shirt and black coat, she’s her own biggest fan. At the end of the video, Kenny flashes her rather impressive muscles and says, “stay strong.”
On top of her grey outfit, Jenner also sports an Adidas headband, which is no surprise considering she was named brand ambassador for the Adidas Originals line back in May. Her debut advertisement for Adidas was heavily criticized, however. In the ad, Jenner emerges from a weird hibernation chamber, while images of Sandro Botticelli’s iconic 1486 painting “The Birth of Venus” are shown.
Stallone has yet to make a statement about this portrayal of his most iconic character.
Previous days on this year’s Love calendar have already seen Ashley Graham pulling a weighted sledge in her underwear and Emily Ratajkowski eating (and bathing in) spaghetti — both have the same “stay strong” message.
