What does Jennifer Hudson use as award good luck charms?

Jennifer Hudson plans to use her dogs to win herself an Emmy Award and Tony Award to go along with her Oscar and Grammy.

The Dreamgirls actress has joked about naming her dogs after the iconic television and theatre awards in the hope that they will bring her good luck.

Talking to PEOPLE, Jennifer – who has already won an Academy Award and a Grammy Award – said: “I should get two more dogs. I got a dog and I named it Oscar and then I won my Oscar. And then I got a dog and named it Grammy and then I won my Grammy. So I think I should get some dogs and name them Emmy and Tony – and it’ll give me good luck and I’ll win … [They’re] like my good luck charms.”

Despite her laughter, the 33-year-old singer-and-actress did note that she wouldn’t mind transitioning her talents to the stage or even the television set.

She said: “I would love to do television and theatre.”

Speaking about the rumoured Sex and the City sequel, Jennifer – who played Louise, Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant in the first movie – added that she is happy to take part if any of it comes to fruition. She said: “I don’t know much. But that would be nice. And Louise from St. Louis will be ready.”
