Young, Famous & African is all about the glam life, and fashion plays a major part. Between all the classy affairs, and see-and-be-seen events, the group had ample opportunity to show off and show out with their bold fashion choices.
While the ladies came through with plunging necklines, figure-hugging gowns, embellished ensembles, colour, and volume, the guys were not far behind
With the likes of celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry, TV personality Andile Ncube, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platinumz, and radio DJ Quinton “Naked DJ” Masina, we saw ample swag and dapper formal attire.

Khanyi’s grand night
When we first meet Khanyi, she’s positioned as the focal point of the group. She throws an extravagant dinner to get everyone to meet and mingle, and shows them some SA hospitality, Khanyi Mbau style of course. At the black tie affair, Khanyi and the gang are dressed to the nines in formal attire. We love Khanyi’s beaded red gown which she paired with a smokey eye, platinum blond hair and drop diamond earrings. She looked every bit an It girl and a star.
A tea time treat
After Khanyi and Annie put aside their differences that ensued at the ball, and the group is introduced to Zari The Boss Lady, Khanyi decides to hold an elegant high-tea for the girls. Between Nadia, Annie, Kayleigh, Khanyi and Zari, it’s hard to choose who had the best look. They were all extravagant in their own way, with pink, white, and puff sleeves being the unspoken dress code for the affair.
An all white affair
Andile throws an all-white party for the group, and the vibes are nothing less than dapper. The girls looks elegant in all-white cocktail dresses while the gents looks cool in button-down linen shirts, chinos and loafers.
Swanky’s swag
Throughout the show, we see Swanky Jerry’s eccentric style take centre stage. Whether with ruffles, feathers, fedora’s or pops colour, his outfits are always a talking point. This neon green and dramatic cape moment was definitely an unforgettable look.
A casual day out
When the guys spend some quality time together, we get a glimpse of the casual yet stylish everyday attire. We love the jeans and t-shirt vibes, with just the right amount of cool.
