A look back at WOTY 2022

Reminiscing on our special Game Changers Edition honouring women who are shifting the narrative for generations to come.

It’s that time of the year again, where we’re set to host our annual GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards (WOTY).

This prestigious event is known for celebrating women who are leaders in their chosen fields. These are people who inspire us, who are steadfast in their pursuit of excellence, and are unafraid to awaken to their full potential.

Last year, after a two-year hiatus, WOTY returned for a very special Game Changer’s Edition. This edition honoured pioneers, trendsetters and innovators, and focused on women who are pushing boundaries and rewriting the narrative for the next generation.

In partnership with Tresemmé as a headline sponsor, the awards spanned 12 categories, including an all new Next Gen Game-changer award - representing our ever- changing social landscape and the power of digital storytelling.

Some of our winners included Shudu Musida as our Mental Health Game-changer, Thuso Mbedu as our Game-changing Actress, and DBN Gogo as our Game-changer in Music.
