Fans react to the return of The Wife S3

The first three episodes of the third and final season of the multi-award-winning Showmax Original telenova, The Wife finally dropped and viewers are here for it. Fans of the show have been waiting in anticipation, and couldn’t wait to share their excitement when their faves showed up on their screens.

It’s worth noting that Wiseman Ncube has officially made his debut as Mqhele, replacing Bonko Khoza. We’re not complaining because Wiseman also has that thing!

In addition to Wiseman, new cast who made their debut include Sello Motloung (Blood Psalms) as Naledi’s father, Kgosi; Bongo Maffin’s Stoan Seate as Sefako, Qhawe’s rival for Naledi; Lungelo Mpangase (eHostela, Lingashoni, Mzali Wam) as Xoli, Sambulo’s love interest; Mo Setumo (The Queen) as Tshidi, Naledi’s older sister; ​​Sello Ramolahloane (Uzalo) as Molefi; and Terrence Ngwila (Lioness) as Detective Baloyi.

As much as we welcome these awesome changes, we’re pleased that Naledi and Qhawe are still serving chemistry and viewers are lapping it up! And we just love our girl Hlomu and Mqhele together.

Judging by the comments on the TL, we’re invested in the storyline for different reasons but the bottom line is, we’re happy our favourite show is back.
