Acclaimed South African singer-songwriter Shekhinah is set to usher in an exciting new chapter of her musical journey with the release of her debut EP, Love on Repeat Volume 1 which dropped today.
Known for her distinctive voice and chart-topping pop hits, Shekhinah takes a bold step into new sonic territory with a project rooted in house music and inspired by the rich textures of South African three-step sounds. The four-track EP showcases her versatility as an artist while remaining true to the emotional storytelling that has become her signature.
Love on Repeat Volume 1 features the previously released single "Say You Love Me", a collaboration with Brandon Dhludhlu, alongside the forthcoming focus track "My Baby", featuring Brandon Dhludhlu and Fatso 98. The infectious single serves as the lead release from the EP and offers listeners a taste of the project's vibrant energy and genre-blending approach.
Adding further depth to the project, Shekhinah collaborates with acclaimed singer-songwriter Simmy, bringing together two of South Africa's most distinctive voices on a release that celebrates love, rhythm, and musical evolution.The EP was produced by a collective of celebrated producers including Fatso 98, Master A Flat, 2KayMusiq, and MotiveSoul, whose combined creative vision helped shape the project's fresh and dynamic sound.
