Viewers weigh in on the dramatic finale of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip: Africa

The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip: Africa has come to an end in Rio after a turbulent, drama-filled ride. While viewer reactions remain mixed, one thing is certain: Christall and Madam emerged as clear fan favourites, with South African audiences already calling for more of the duo on their screens

The final episode saw the ladies bidding farewell to one another, beginning on a surprisingly wholesome note. Several cast members opened up emotionally as they found solace at Rio’s iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, sharing some of their most intimate reflections. The moment set the tone for what seemed like a peaceful conclusion but true to Housewives form, the calm didn’t last long.

Angel did manage to apologise to Christall for taking things too far during their confrontation. However, Annie’s resentment toward Christall continued to simmer. At the final dinner, she confronted Christall by asking what she planned to do next, clearly bracing herself for Chritsall's next move. What no one anticipated was Christall responding by flashing the ladies, a moment that sent the evening spiralling further into chaos.

In true Housewives fashion, a card game soon entered the chat, opening the floor for questions the group had been itching to ask, particularly why Zena had joined the trip at all (cue crickets).
Zena later skipped the final slumber party and had allegedly been rude to staff. Even Pablo weighed in during his first-ever diary session, bluntly suggesting that perhaps next time, she should stay home.

By the end of the episode, it was clear that the tension between Christall and the rest of the ladies is far from over. What did feel renewed, however, was Christall and Madam’s friendship, which appeared to strengthen against the backdrop of Rio.

As we process a season marked by volatility, alliances, and unforgettable moments, social media has been buzzing with reactions.
